Ok, so I'm new at at this! I bought my software and downloaded it last night. I was looking on the site today and going through the kits for sale. When I purchase, do I just download them? I'm not interested in kits that come in the mail as I've gone digital. I hope this isn't a silly question! Also when they download, do they go in the appropriate spots in the software? paper in paper, embelishments in embelishments, or, do they download as separate kits and stay that way? Thanks-Diane |

Diane, I'm new to this, too, but I have purchased and downloaded kits from MMS and they do go into the appropriate folder (paper, embellishments, etc.) I have yet to figure out how to download from another site and use those kits, however. I'm having so much fun!! Carolyn |

oops! Didn't see the first part of your question. Yes, you just download them. If you go up top to "my downloads" you will see the downloads that you have purchased and you just click on the appropriate link for MMS for windows or mac. It's really easy! If I can do it, anybody can! LOL Carolyn |

Hi Diane! Welcome to our crazy little club! YES, everything that you buy as additional content here in the Design Shop is all digital content. The only thing you could sign up for to receive in the mail is the Quick Design Club CD and that comes once every other month. With the kits you purchase in the shop, you will choose and purchase (or grab the freebies) Once the purchase is complete, you will go to the link that says MY DOWNLOADS - you will see your purchases listed there for download, and choose whether you want the MAC or PC download, depending on your computer. Click on the format you want and it will guide you through the steps to download. Once it is on your computer just click the downloaded item - and it will go through the self-install wizard. This will automatically install your new kit into your software (just make sure your software isn't open when doing this) then the next time you open your MMS program, you should see your new content. If you installed a kit that was a Designer Template, you will find those in the list to choose from when creating a new project. If you purchased something as a PACK, that will be available in the listings under the category heading they fall under. I have a pretty extensive tutorial video that might help go over some of the basic features and functions of My Memories Suite, and it might be helpful! It starts with a short 30 minute "Calendar Workshop" and then rolls right into the "Intro to MMS" 90 minute workshop! It might help some! Please let me know if you need anything else, I am happy to help! Lisa J

I'm new to this, how do I download free stuff. It makes it look like I have to purchase and it's free. What am i missing? |

Downloading the freebies goes through the same process as purchasing, but you should see at every point that the price is $0. Also, you won't have to put in a credit card.
By going through the same process of creating an account as a purchase, you will continue to have access to the designs if you need to download them later (on the 'downloads' page in the My Account area). |
