Welcome to "ALL" things MAC resource page. If you have a Mac and have any questions or ideas, or resources to share please do so. There are several of us with Macs on this forum and we will check periodically to see if we can help in any way. I have learned from the Facebook group that none of us know everything, but between us, we all know a little and can research if we need to. If you don't get an answer quick enough, post a note on the Facebook page for someone to check the forum for a question or a post. This way we will have the questions and answers in a central location!! Again, Welcome and Happy Scrapping! Linda Tisdale Manson |

I'm new to a Mac (2 months ago), fairly new to digital scrapbooking and just downloaded MyMemories and also have PSE9. I need HELP, QUICK! I am ready to help a friend with a marathon scrapbooking weekend and need help getting to my iPhoto content! I have tried to use the tips on here and my Library content is blank. I can't drag it. But I DO have lots of content in my iPhoto! I have albums set up there with all my Paper, Elements, Alphas, etc. and want to move them to MyMemories content so I don't have to hunt for them when we scrap. We will be using her pictures this time, so using a flash drive and hopefully I'll be able to access those! But I have hundreds of elements/papers, etc. and want to get those into the program. Also, when I scrap my own photos, I need to know how to access my photos in iPhoto! THANKS! I'll be on the road in a few hours, so hopefully someone will be online and can help me quickly! :) |

MacGail - hopefully this isn't too late!!! You can just drag and drop photos from your open iPhoto window in to your open MMS page that you are working on. You can either drag them stright on to the page or in to an empty photo box that you have already added. If you need help FAST in the future, our MMS Facebook page is very busy and there is almost always someone around who can help you night or day!! http://www.facebook.com/mymemoriessuite |

Gail and Jayne, also brought up a great quesion on the FB Page: can you creat pages on a MAC and import and edit on a PC? Well, we discoverd that since My Memories creates the albums as ".MMS' files, both MAC and PC versions recognize the files, so you can share with friends on both platforms. So Happy Scrapping!!! |

Hi, I am completely new to scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking. I want a way to catalog my son's growth by month as I have a gazillion pics as I am sure you all do!! :) He is now 18mo. old....so I have a lot of catching up to do! 1st thing...I just downloaded MMS software and CANNOT get photos from my iphoto. I read most of your comments and see probably the best way is to open iphoto and MMS in split screens and just drag & drop? I have tried to locate them under the resource gallery in every folder you would think they would be but it says 0 photos. So frustrating...at least the PC you know exactly where your photos are. On the MAC they are hidden somehow. If you have any more advice, options, please let me know!! Thanks :) Jen |
