'Tis the season to be jolly and make memories together as a family, reliving traditions handed down through the years as well as making new traditions to pass down. Family Christmas Traditions really captures that holly-day joy and the timelessness of this season. The slightly faded hues of reds, greens, white, and icy blues don't feel too modern, making this kit perfect for heirloom scrapping while the patterned papers wouldn't look out of place on presents under the tree. There are nods to so many special traditions, from making gingerbread houses to baking cookies for Santa, trimming the tree and hanging a wreath, sipping hot cocoa by the fire, hanging stockings with care, wearing Christmas sweaters (both ugly and cute), wrapping presents, picking out special ornaments every year, collecting snow globes, and so much more. There are nods to Santa, including a very merry elf and thematic stamps from the big man himself, as well as ephemera, textured cardstocks that call to mind a classic book, and an alpha that looks almost like gingerbread. Everything is merry, everything is bright, and everything in this kit is perfect for scrapping this Christmas and all the years to come.
