Across the Plains is a gorgeous scrapbooking kit inspired by the pioneers' westward journey. Every single paper and many of the elements are worn, weathered, and crinkled, as though they were carried across the continent to start a new life. Every single detail has been carefully chosen to pay tribute to those bygone days in a way that wouldn't feel out of place discovered in a trunk in the attic. The patterned papers call to mind floral fabrics, while the cardstocks feel just hand-pressed from pulp. Hand-drawn wagons, wheels, a lantern, and a hat don't feel out of place alongside vintage clocks, bits of pieces of ephemera, ribbons, and flowers so realistic you'd swear you found them pressed in a book. The little details are truly what make this kit shine for scrapping stories of pioneer adventures, whether your find them in your family history, at the museum, or even in a Pioneer Day parade.
