My Husband & I do British Car Shows all over the south to show off his obsession (we have 15). sheesh there should be a pill. Anyhoo, we met a guy in Pensicola Fl. who had a part Dave wanted so we stopped in Mobile on the way home to pick it up. The house was an ole Plantation home downtown & absoulutly magnificent. We had been on the road for about 3 hours & when I walked in met his wife & asked if I could please use the bathroom. She walked me thru the kitchen, formal dining room, into a hall & to the bathroom. I was ooowwwin and awwwin all the way. I got into the bathroom and was just blown away. Old claw tub with original brass swan faucets. The room was huge. She had all these old vintage photos on the wall in the most beautiful frames. I was in there for what seemed like hours lookin at all these pictures. When I came out I assured her I did not stink up the room, I just couldn’t get over all the old photos and how great they were. I said what a great thing to have all those old family memories. She says to me “oh those aren’t our family Wayne bought a box of old photos at a garage sale for a dollar”. My chin hit the floor. WHAT!!!!! WHO DOES THIS, SELL YOUR FAMILY PHOTOS, WHO BUYS THEM AT A GARAGE SALE."??????? When we got in the car and left I called my Mom and said I will be at your house next weekend and we are going thru the trunk of old photos. This is so not happenin to my family. We have spent lot’s of weekend going thru them, identifying who we can. Her giving me the information she remembers about them all. It’s amazing how many there are and what good shape they are in. I was into original paper scrappin back then & didn’t know what to do with them or how I could make multiple copies for the whole family. Now that MMS (saved my life) has come along it has been so much fun to do these pics. It is not easy to do them justice and all of you have made me so happy to comment and let me know that I am doin this right. Thanks again for all the support.

Bless ya’lls heart. This is what I needed just to vent. I cooked all day no one wants to eat a thing. I just bagged it all. I agree this year is so bad. We get it once a year but can not shake this one. I told Dave not his time I don’t even want to come near you, he said don’t & I love you. He got a phone call I took him the phone & went & got it with a clorox wipe. The dog is freakin cause dads in the bed & I’m downstairs. Avoid this people IT IS THE PLEAGUE!!!!! Thanks again for your love and prayers.

Dave came home from work early with a 101.5 fever. I am so sleepin on the couch tonight. We have been fightin this stuff on and off since the end of Dec. I got up this morning trying to find balance. Do the cleaning, do a page, fold the laundry do a page. Then got kicked with I do not want to get this chit again. Don’t want to post this on FB cause it’s all about the talent & the help. But I love the suite gurls & could use some prayers & chat time. I worked hard today to do it all. Made firecrackers, got a pork butt in the oven for BBQ, got out the turkey carcus for soup planning on having sands & soup for the week. Then in walks the flu again. I can’t go there. Thanks for listening.

Ok, this is for you Shannon and any others struggling to find and know what you have in the kits we have from our MMS. Linda Tinsdale gave me this Ah Ha moment and I had to do something.

Shannon you mentioned this and I went with it. Why not print a page of what comes in the kit. Well, I am not to worried about the papers. They are easy for me to pick thru & change when you want to. It’s the embellishments and things that come in these kits. The word art which is so great to have & can be used on so many different pages.

Here’s what I did. I went in and opened a new album I called MMS kits. I opened up my kit and on a blank page just started pullin in the elements. I popped one button in & then added text box & typed in the colors that button comes in. typed a bow & then the colors that comes in. I just plopped each of the elements on one page and then did a text box of the name of the kit. Now I can have a quick look at what those embellys and things look like. I did this in 8.5×11 so if I want to in the future print it up & put it in a binder.

When I saw that page Linda did and knew I had the kit and all the wonder on that page was just sittin here in my computer & I had no idea those things looked like that. I was so blown away. This obviously is going to take some time but I do think will allow me to use what I have. I confessed that I usually use things that I have gotten and filed in my documents from other sources cause I can open them up and see them big to know what it’s going to do.

Hope this helps some, and I am just gettin started with it. Anyone have any better ideas on how to let us know

I can’t do the photo everyday or 1 of 52. Not that I don’t want to but nobody will let me:) I was thinkin hard today about this and the ideas we could do both individually and as a group. I came up with one I would love us to try. Ok, think this with me gurls: Once a month we do a recipe page 4×6 easy to print any where. At the end of the year we have a recipe book for all our peeps. This would be such a super book because it would be so many differnt goodies & so many differant styles. We could put them on the site like we did with our all about me pages and could just go grab em up. Easy peasy gift for all of us and those we love. Let me know what you think a once a month challenge day the best of our best.

34 years ago I gave up a baby girl for adoption. We have been in reunion since 2000. Having not known anything about her for so many years was hard. The many years of wondering if she was ok, or alive, if she was loved. I had the opportunity to go see her & spend 4 days with her and her mother. The amazing blessing was what a wonderful woman her mom is. This family and my daughter are so amazing. Jen just had her second daughter on Nov. 30th & the entire gang is so thrilled. Her 1st daughter is 5. I have such a place in my heart for Jen’s Mom it will never have words to describe how I love her. When we met she brought scrapbooks of Jen growing up. It was such a joy to see her with kittens, and ponies, and such love it jumped off the page. It was a tough meeting like so many, without going into details it’s just hard for all in the triangle of adoption. I would love to win this for Margo. She would so love it and have such a great time scrappin those baby girls. I just loaded a pic I did for them & am trying to load more but not smart enough to figure it out. I can talk about this & load the pictures here, it is not good for me to put them out anywhere else. I have sent them to Jen in emails. She loved them.
